Canyon Rim Trail - Snowbasin

The Canyon Rim Trail (formerly Hidden Loop) is a major new addition to the Snowbasin trail network, built through a partnership between Eden Valley Trails, Snowbasin Resort, and NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association).

The main 6-mile loop is now complete and open as a mountain bike–only directional trail, featuring fast, flowing singletrack, technical features, punchy climbs, and optional A/B lines for riders of all skill levels. An additional ~2-mile loop will be added in spring 2026, expanding route options and race configurations.

Built with over 700 volunteer hours from local riders, students, and community members, the project highlights the passion and dedication behind Eden Valley Trails' mission to create sustainable, high-quality trails across Ogden Valley.

Funded through support from Snowbasin Resort, community donors, and local sponsors, the Canyon Rim Trail showcases what's possible through strong public–private collaboration.
