New Directional Trail at NFP
Under Construction — Opening Fall 2026

Our biggest project of the 2026 season is underway: a ~5-mile directional mountain bike trail at North Fork Park, starting from the Mules Ear Parking Lot.
This purpose-built trail will add a genuinely new riding experience to the park, with some truly unique features we can't wait to share (details coming soon). Beyond the fun factor, it's designed to make the whole network work better — adding capacity on the North end, easing congestion at the busy South Gate, and incorporating innovative trail-separation crossings to keep all trail users safe.
Construction will continue through the summer. Please don't ride the trail until it officially opens — the corridor isn't fully cleared, we're constantly fine-tuning the build, and an unfinished trail is a real safety and liability risk. We'll make plenty of noise when it's ready.
This project is made possible by Weber County (RAMP Grant), the Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation, the Community Foundation of Ogden Valley, a donation match from Biker's Edge, and generous donors and volunteers throughout our community. Thank you!
