Moose Tracks

A new multi-use trail at North Fork park

The trail spans almost five miles of terrain, connecting the southern end of North Fork Park with the north and providing an entirely new way to traverse the landscape and admire its spectacular views. It also offers the potential to create new loops with other trails already in the parks network. Designed and built as a multi-use (cyclists, hikers, and equestrians) trail, it maximizes the terrain for enjoyment and flow, while still maintaining moderate grades. As always, it was also created with a careful eye towards proper water drainage and management so that this new resource to the community will be in great shape for years to come. The Eden Valley Trails crew also managed to create an abundance of side "features" on the trail ranging from technical challenges for cyclists, carved benches for admiring the views, and even some trailside chainsaw carvings to keep the journey down the trail exciting and interesting for everyone.
