Big News from North Fork Park,
Friends, we've been waiting to share this one — construction has officially begun on our biggest trail project of the season!
This new +4-mile directional bike trail at North Fork Park will start from the Mules Ear Lot on the North End, creating a fantastic new riding option while helping ease congestion at the South Gate. And we're not just building miles — this trail will include some truly unique features unlike anything else in the park. We'll be sharing more on those soon, so stay tuned.
We really believe this is going to be an incredible addition to North Fork Park and the amazing place it has become.
Thank You to Our Supporters
A project of this scale takes a village, and we're deeply grateful to the partners who made it possible:
Weber County, for their ongoing support of this project and a RAMP grant
Utah DNR, through a Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant
And you — every donor who supports EVT helps put shovels in the ground
One Small Ask: Please Don't Ride It Yet
We know the temptation is real, but please stay off the new trail until it officially opens. The corridor still has uncut trees, active machinery, and constant fine-tuning underway. Riding it early is a liability for EVT — and a real safety risk for you. We expect roughly 3 months of work ahead, and we'll make plenty of noise when it's ready to ride. Thanks for your patience — it'll be worth the wait.
See you on the trails,
The Eden Valley Trails Crew
