🚲🥾This Is What Trail Magic Looks Like

Hey trail friends,
We’re still up on the mountain at Snowbasin, putting in long days on the new trail. So far, we’ve completed nearly 4 miles, and if we’re lucky enough to get some rain, we’ll be able to open sections soon. It’s looking great—flowy, scenic, and built to last.
We’re also still working on the Pineview Loop Pathway. Wow, does this project take time. I added it up the other day, and I’ve been working on it, in one way or another, for nearly 20 years now.
This is the kind of work I believe in. It’s why I helped start Eden Valley Trails in the first place.
When I donate to a nonprofit, I want to know my money is going straight to the mission—not to overhead, inflated salaries, or some office I’ll never see. At EVT, we live by that principle. Nearly 95% of every dollar we receive goes directly into the trails: to the builders, the diesel, the tools, and the materials.
The rest? It’s volunteers. So many folks have stepped up this year—over 300 hours from high school trail nights, National Trails Day, and countless small groups of dedicated people who simply love trails and want to give back. That kind of community effort is what makes this all possible.
If you’ve hiked, biked, run, or ridden these trails and felt something good come from it—please consider donating. It doesn’t have to be a lot. But it means a lot. And I promise: it goes exactly where it should—into the dirt, into the tools, and into building something we can all be proud of.
Thanks for believing in this work. I sure do.
